Lately - I have been mostly

• working, new job is super cool
• listening to the same music over and over again on the train
• wishing I couldn't smell subway every time I leave the office cos I just want to eat it all
• thinking about the day I can buy a sewing machine
• being thankful that by lovely boyfriend gets up at 6 and makes me lunch
• waiting for the day I can go back to new york and dance at a gig at cake shop

and yes when I get paid, my first pay packet, I will go to Topshop and buy as much stripey shit that I can and that will make me happy.

This band make me happy. One day I will see them.

Well to be correct. I got offered a job, accepted it, got asked to interview for a better job at a cooler company, got offered the better job with more money, need to decline the other. Went from no jobs to two jobs in one week. Just call me Johnny Two Jobs.

Plus - it's my birthday tomorrow. Things are finally looking up.

So I stupidly went in the Oxford Circus Topshop the other day in between meetings/interviews.

Bad idea. Bad bad idea.

I bought this.

And tried on/want all of this.....
The sleeves on this jumper such a nice length and it has a really cool zip on the back.

This top has shoulders pads and they suprisingly look good.

Again more stripes. I have too many stripes.
